The Year adidas Turns 60!

Dear adidas and all your fab staffs,

Happy birthday!

.. and thank you for the happy party people
and for the hell happy of a party!

And ahemmm, I owe you one Jessica Lim for having forced Faizal Tahir

to stand beside me and hear my yoga-talk for a good one whole hour.

Dina (Malaysian Idol) and I couldn't have had more fun
and couldn't feel luckier to have gotten errrrr, a blow job
from Faizal Tahir for the camera?

Oh, and just so if that's not enough, check out
this very limited edition adidas Original leather jacket I wore here,
scroll again the above picture and go crazy.

Heh heh, sila mulakan bergosip dan
sambung menulis surat komplen kepada bos adidas Malaysia.

To more events, birthdays and fab clothes!
Loving you Three Stripes 'sampai syurga'!!!

The Yoga Instructor, Faizal Tahir, Henry Golding, Jehan Miskin,
Daphne Iking and Dina all wore adidas Original tops / dresses
in this post.

The Day There'll Be Rainbeau In Sunway

Dear Diary,

I know, I know, I know I have been MIA
and (like anyone cares) I will be MIA again for the next couple of days.

Remember the cool, cold and pure fun I had at
adidas Fitness Academy '08 which was held in Shanghai
just months before Beijing Olympics Games last year?

Well this year, the same fitness academy takes place TOMORROW
although (not so fun for me) it will be held in,

t s k t s k..

S U N W A Y.
Or Pyramid Tower Hotel to be exact.

*berdoa supaya adidas Fitness Academy tahun depan
akan berlangung di Jepun atau Hong Kong*

So, tsk tsk, expect less pictures
and almost no parade of adidas by Stella McCartney's latest trenchcoat collection, yah?

Although, knowing I might be able to show Rainbeau Mars around town
is something to get slightly excited about, no?

The Day All The More Reason I Won't Ever Tattoo 'adidas' On My Body

Dear Diary,

menantikan malam pertama setelah pesta pernikahannya.
Selepas pesta selesai mereka pun masuk bilik

Akhirnya setelah semuanya terbuka,
si isteri melihat tatu bertuliskan 'AIDS' pada 'anu' si suami.
Dengan ketakutan si isteri menanyakan tatu tersebut.
Namun dengan tenangnya si suami menjawab,
"Tenang Sayang... Tulisan itu bukan bererti sesuatu yang menakutkan. Teruslah pegang..."

Setelah si anunya tegang dan memanjang,
maka tulisan AIDS menjadi 'ADIDAS'...

Kelakar kan?
Atau hanya kerana saya pro adidas saya rasa ia kelakar?

At one of the great aids party ;)

Lari topik sedikit,

"It takes a couple of hundreds to make,
a couple of thousands to remove
and
a lifetime to regret."

The Day I Wore My Hair Straight and Didn't Wear Three Stripes Anything to An adidas Event

Dear Diary,

This Hari Raya, apart from my own parents' open house this coming weekend,
I was really looking forward to attending adidas Malaysia's Aidilfitri Open House
which was held at it's HQ's lobby garden last night.

And boy, was it worth the anticipation
and was I filled.

You tell me.

Meat and chicken, I have stopped consuming.
But when these guys were served at my dinner table,

'Arash Mohamad', Jehan Miskin, Henry Golding

.. I consider my perpetual fasting rewarded :)

'Sadly', it was Henry I went home with :P

If Henry is not your cup of tea,
if your cawan prefers more the type very the Melayu jati,
you may hate me (more) now

for Faizal Tahir has joined the colourful house of three-stripes
and is now a proud adidas ambassador too :)

(Useless fact No 1: I can sing to every song in Faizal's Aku.Muzik.Kamu album.
The album is worth every award it bagged during this year's
AIM.
Useless fact No 2: I played futsal last Tuesday beside Faizal's court.
And I only realized it when we were about to leave to mamak post-futsal.

I was also introduced by Darren Choy, the big boss of adidas
to Malaysia's most rocking sisters, Ella and Jojie.
And Ella kept saying, "I tau you, cikgu yoga tu. Kenapa you tak ingat I?" to me. TO ME!

Of course I know Ella right
(and actually, every word in her Ella USA album. Dah useless fact Nombor 3 tu.
Oh, saya juga hafal lagu
Sembilu dan Sepi Sekuntum Mawar Merah. Lagu wajib karaoke tu!)
but I really really really don't remember being introduced to her.

Supertall left early leaving me in good hands of Henry
to drive adidas' favourite yoga instructor home.
As soon as he left, I found myself swooned by more Superfamous-es!

New groom, 'Abang' Naz

I blame the sheer dress.
Beli dari Kirana (dua tahun lepas, masa ada duit) sebab nampak harga dia slashed 50%.
Cantik tapi nampak super jarang daripada realiti bila flash super terang.

I also attracted these super comel mat salleh-s who paired adidas shirts with samping songket!

The one standing to the right stressed that he didn't wear anything underneath the samping.
To which I volunteered to do the split when he claimed he is flexible too.
Yes, yes.

Thank you adidas Malaysia
for the eye candies, good food and a great party.
As always.

Now I can look forward to your sample sale next weekend :)

The Day I've Never Felt More Of A (errr..) Celeb?

Dear Diary,

THIS has got to be bar bone, the most memorable party I attended and participated in, this year.

That was me on big screen turning everyone on the floor into Trees (Vrikshasana)!

Event: adidas Women Event FW '08
Venue: The Gardens Hotel, Midvalley
Date: September 10, 2008 Time: 7 - 10.30pm
Emcees: Jien and Henry Golding

I did not get to take pictures on my own camera, because my battery died and I left it charging in the 'ambassadors' waiting room' throughout. When it was finally charged, my session was finished and most of the celebs have left. So I missed out once in a lifetime year opportunity to be in pictures when I get to pretzel Amber Chia, Deborah Henry, Sazzy Falak, Daphne Iking (nasib baik selalu jumpa Daphne) and many more.

Thanks to some of the participants that night (thanks Janice! Thanks Janet!) that tagged me on Facebook & to Femmething, Ringo and Joyce so I can still share these pictures of how grand and fun of an event it was, and of what you have missed that night.

[Photo credits and thanks to Janice, Janet, Femmething.com, Cheeserland.com and Kinkybluefairy.net

Henry read this while introducing me to the media and participants during the star 'catwalk':

"Ninie Ahmad is our celebrity yoga instructor and yoga ambassador. This small girl joined Nescafe Kickstart Season 3 last year with big dream to publish Malaysia's first yoga magazine but did not win the RM150,000 cash grand prize. To Ninie, not winning does not mean losing. To date, she has published two yoga magazines on her own and in process of building her yoga empire in Kuala Lumpur. Living yoga as her lifestyle and living Impossible Is Nothing as her mantra, Ninie is dubbed Malaysia's most flexible if not most successful yoga instructor."

Can I get that written on my tombstone as well?

Finishing pose at my catwalk, with Jien niceeeeeeeeeely mocking me at the back, not bad!

Unintended waldrobe malfunction :P on the magical adidas Techfit Powerweb.
Kenot help lah..

Daphne Iking, Lavin Seow and Fouziah Gous looking ever so serene during my session.
Either I was really good or they are really good actresses!

Sizzling Sazzy, I love her because she's so cool (and hot!) and she's as small as me!

With Joyce Wong, [who is NOT smaller than me :( ]
whom IMHO, more known and a bigger celebrity than all of us ambassadors combined.

Celebrity blogger, Amanda
proving Impossible Is Nothing

Yours truly and her dearest housemate, Henry Golding who was also the emcee of the event, alongside Jien. If you can believe me, I did not vouch Henry to adidas, everybody simply seems to love Henry! I'm so proud of him, and to be able to claim that we go home together every night, ha haa!

One of my last poses for the session, Boat II Pose (Navasana II). So bad of me forcing everyone into doing this almost-impossible pose, heh heh.. But you know what, in adidas and on adidas' yoga mat, almost everyone in floor was doing it! Very impressive, ladies!

Everyone in their favourite pose, Child Pose (Balasana), heh heh.
Oh so serene. Oh that's a nice tattoo.

The participants seemed to be loving me! I love you too!
I spotted Tria, winner of ntv7's Audition Season 1.
I actually rooted and voted for her back then, tau!

More of their happy faces. Told ya', each and every one will bag home RM500
worth of goodie bag!
Rugi tak datang, woo!

All the female ambassadors (except for Christien New, how did you end up there lah?) with the sporting big boss of adidas Malaysia. Encik Darren Choy, we love you long long time!

With most of the participants and celebrities participating that night. Yes, no prize in distinguishing which one is Ninie. I did not even wear push-up or tried to kepit OK..

Useless fact: I had the hardest of time posing for the media that night, every angle I tried to bend and twist might cause the pictures to undergo heavy tiles pixelation before they can make it to prints!

I can never thank adidas enough so I will forever thank them for the exposure (I immediately saw myself on Bernama@tv the next day!), for the opportunity to handle a roomful of celebrity stars, star bloggers, medias and amazing participants (I couldn't have made it without your support and enthusiasm!), for the amazing Techfit Powerweb I had the honour to officiate;

and for all the more reason to keep believing that
Impossible Is Nothing,
for me.

Your 'Celebrity' Yoga Instructor hearts you too.
