The Day Maybe Later but Not Here, Not Today

Dear Diary,

I am really sorry.
I am not really in the right mind and body to share what I learned
at the recent Spring | Summer adidas Fitness Academy, Kuala Lumpur.

Not here.
Not today.

Maybe if you attend any of my yoga classes
at either Celebrity Fitness or by my poolside at Damansara Perdana
but not here,
not today.

But I have two dozens of pictures
of Asia's most celebrated yoga instructors
and what latest adidas we got to wear.

DAY 1

My bad, it was held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, NOT Pyramid Tower as mentioned at my previous entry. The participants stayed at the latter though.

This manual contains the core crunching twists I'll make you do.

It read,
"This is ME.
Rainbeau Mars.

Yoga Professional.

Entrepreneur.

Chocoholic."

If it were mine, I'd want it to read,
"This is ME.
Ninie Ahmad.

.............................
.
.......................
.
........................................... . "
You'll get to read it in adidas stores one day.

Rainbeau Mars in flesh telling us to go

standing on our heads.
Yes, most of us were wearing the same latest Yatra (adidas Yoga) products.
You'll get to buy them from adidas stores one day.

The adidas Techfit Powerweb tops Rainbeau and I wore in this picture
can be found at any adidas Concept Stores for RM259 each.

DAY 2

With beautiful Brancy, the other representative for Malaysia.
She is a belly dance instructor for Celebrity Fitness and
was the runner-up for So You Think You Can Dance Season 1.

Remember Jessica from last year's adidas Fitness Academy, Shanghai?
That IS really her at the background poster.

And that's her again.
She is like, Ninie Ahmad here the Rainbeau Mars of Korea.
And she is not 18. Both of us will be 27 this year.

With Lin Min, yoga ambassador for China.
Although she might look 27 like me, but she swears to God she is 38 years old.
What, I look 14? Thank you.
Word. Yoga.

A must-do every year, last year I got to imitate Rainbeau in Side Crow

This year, I was mistaken for Rainbeau by Rainbeau!

After 'graduation' of a gruelling 16-hours of adidas Yoga certification,

you get a roomful of Asia's yoga instructors splitting around..

playing choo-choo train upside down,

making the stage theirs to be Pigeons, Dancers and Peacocks..

With adidas Malaysia's Dunstan and Lina.
Thank you for the KL Fitness Academy and please don't forget to send me
for the Fall | Winter Fitness Academy in Beijing this July.

Pretty much what I ate every lunch for the whole three days of the academy.
Cherry tomatoes, kerabu mangga, vegetarian prawn and vegetarian fish.

DAY 3

Other selected Asian yoga, combat and dance instructors
with Rainbeau Mars after the Yoga Master Class on the final day.

Bobo, Ninie and Lin Min with their smiles and spines wide open
thrilled to have been handpicked by Rainbeau Mars
to help her monitor the Yoga Master Class.

Goodbye adidas Fitness Academy, Kuala Lumpur.
See you in Beijing this coming summer!

I will share more
in another entry, another day.
But I am sorry again,
it wont' happen here,
it won't happen today.

I am not in my right mind and body to share.

The Day There'll Be Rainbeau In Sunway

Dear Diary,

I know, I know, I know I have been MIA
and (like anyone cares) I will be MIA again for the next couple of days.

Remember the cool, cold and pure fun I had at
adidas Fitness Academy '08 which was held in Shanghai
just months before Beijing Olympics Games last year?

Well this year, the same fitness academy takes place TOMORROW
although (not so fun for me) it will be held in,

t s k t s k..

S U N W A Y.
Or Pyramid Tower Hotel to be exact.

*berdoa supaya adidas Fitness Academy tahun depan
akan berlangung di Jepun atau Hong Kong*

So, tsk tsk, expect less pictures
and almost no parade of adidas by Stella McCartney's latest trenchcoat collection, yah?
(Kalau nak mengada jugak, pakai trenchcoat dan gloves serta muffler bagai sambil posing ketika ice-skating di Sunway Pyramid, boleh kah lebih poyo?)

Although, knowing I might be able to show Rainbeau Mars around town
is something to get slightly excited about, no?

The Days I Love Super Cool (and cold!) Shanghai

Dear Diary,

Glad to know I'm still read and loved :)

Some of you might have known that I just got back from Shanghai last week to represent Malaysia for adidas Fitness Academy 08. Met other yoga ambassadors from other SEA countries and had a blast! And how can I not mention that I also met Rainbeau Mars, an international yoga ambassador for adidas who conducted the Play Yoga workshop and modules.

I can't thank adidas enough for the amazing and eye-opening trip, for the endless beautiful clothes that make me move and flex better, for the wonderful experience,

for everything and more.

(Note: This is NOT an advertorial)

I'm starting a daily update titled What I Wear To Yoga Today to share with you (at least the pictures!) of amazing clothes adidas has produced techically and specially or yoga (and hopefully to motivate me to update more!), starting with the ones I wore during the adidas Fitness Academy. I'll try my very best to reply your queries of where to buy or how much are they priced, if I know where and how much.

This is also mengikut jejak langkah and my personal tribute to my favourite fashionistas, Nellie and Chi.

That's tad too long for someone who hasn't been updating right?

Can I save my new lean mean driving machine story for another day? I have to get ready to a shoot for a magazine who wants me to be their columnist for 6 months, whew..
