The Day I Wore My Hair Straight and Didn't Wear Three Stripes Anything to An adidas Event

Dear Diary,

This Hari Raya, apart from my own parents' open house this coming weekend,
I was really looking forward to attending adidas Malaysia's Aidilfitri Open House
which was held at it's HQ's lobby garden last night.

And boy, was it worth the anticipation
and was I filled.

You tell me.

Meat and chicken, I have stopped consuming.
But when these guys were served at my dinner table,

'Arash Mohamad', Jehan Miskin, Henry Golding

.. I consider my perpetual fasting rewarded :)

'Sadly', it was Henry I went home with :P

If Henry is not your cup of tea,
if your cawan prefers more the type very the Melayu jati,
you may hate me (more) now

for Faizal Tahir has joined the colourful house of three-stripes
and is now a proud adidas ambassador too :)

(Useless fact No 1: I can sing to every song in Faizal's Aku.Muzik.Kamu album.
The album is worth every award it bagged during this year's
AIM.
Useless fact No 2: I played futsal last Tuesday beside Faizal's court.
And I only realized it when we were about to leave to mamak post-futsal.
Kalau tidak, mesti ada motivasi untuk sumbat lebih banyak gol lagi. Hih hii..)

I was also introduced by Darren Choy, the big boss of adidas
to Malaysia's most rocking sisters, Ella and Jojie.
And Ella kept saying, "I tau you, cikgu yoga tu. Kenapa you tak ingat I?" to me. TO ME!

Of course I know Ella right
(and actually, every word in her Ella USA album. Dah useless fact Nombor 3 tu.
Oh, saya juga hafal lagu
Sembilu dan Sepi Sekuntum Mawar Merah. Lagu wajib karaoke tu!)
but I really really really don't remember being introduced to her.

Supertall left early leaving me in good hands of Henry
to drive adidas' favourite yoga instructor home.
As soon as he left, I found myself swooned by more Superfamous-es!

New groom, 'Abang' Naz

I blame the sheer dress.
Beli dari Kirana (dua tahun lepas, masa ada duit) sebab nampak harga dia slashed 50%.
Cantik tapi nampak super jarang daripada realiti bila flash super terang.

I also attracted these super comel mat salleh-s who paired adidas shirts with samping songket!

The one standing to the right stressed that he didn't wear anything underneath the samping.
To which I volunteered to do the split when he claimed he is flexible too.
Yes, yes. Saper kata pakai jeans dan baju raya tak boleh lipat-lipat.

Thank you adidas Malaysia
for the eye candies, good food and a great party.
As always.

Now I can look forward to your sample sale next weekend :)

The Day TGI Wednesday!

Dear Diary,

I teach 9 grueling yoga classes on Monday and Tuesday which require me to wake up 5.30 am on both mornings for it's first class. After the ninth class, I usually rush off to play futsal with my Srikandi girls (by the way, Srikandi Futsal Tournament is back! I'll keep you posted).

Since I resigned my 9 to 6 job (nevertheless I used to work 9 to 6 only on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday :P) last month, this has been my life:

AM
10: Wake up
10.05: Headstand
10.10: Have bananas for breakfast
10.45: Azmi's Dynamic / Matthew's Ashtanga Led yoga class
NOON 1: Read a book as the TV watches me
PM 2: Banana leaf rice (staple lunch) on Fridays, if not Thursdays, if not ALL three days! Bad..
3: Reruns of SATC to help me fall asleep
4: Nap
5: Wake up, headstand, snack with bananas, stuff up with chocolate
6: Gary's Hatha 2 yoga class
8: Have soto for dinner at Aji Don
NIGHT 10: More bananas and chocolates and TV
12: Baca buku..

Every beautiful Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

After the long Monday and Tuesday, I know I deserve this.
For I have a long list of classes to teach on Saturdays.

Thank you my young Henry for the big and badddddd fattening Toblerone, my Supertall for the goooooood Rocky Road (best Cadbury ever, I tell you!) and Jehan Miskin (which shall be referred to as Supermuskel after this) for the thought-provoking books.

I will resume my visit to GSC's International Screen movies on weekday afternoons,
very soon.

The Day I Had Parties In The City

Dear Diary,

For the past week or two, I attended evening parties that were filled with fun and full of fashionist faces.
My new big hairdo makes dressing up all the more fun!

JIMMY CHOO (KLCC)

I can never afford a Jimmy Choo.

In my fuel-to-feed-my-car-is-more-important thinking, I wouldn't spend RM3000 for a pair of shoes and RM7000 for a piece of carrywear (although they are exceptionally and painfully beautiful!) when I can buy 10 of RM300 shoes and 10 of RM700 handbags (or even 100 of RM70 handbags, like the patent green one I wore to the party that I bought three hours prior at OWL boutique in Hartamas Shopping Centre)! Tak? Yelah, takde duit senanglah cakap, he hee..

Although I was close to swiping for a RM6+++ handbag since guests were entitled to 30% discount on displays in store, I came to my senses but ended up spending more than RM600 at La Senza when the party finished. Haiyaaa..

JASPAL (Pavilion)

Bersama kawan-kawanku yang bermata hijau dan kelabu

Bersama si supermodel dan KL's hottest dentists

Jaspal is a Thai brand that chose Malaysia as it's first store outside Thailand. Their pieces are comfortably affordable (price range is almost like Zara, slightly pricier than MNG but almost half-priced from Ted Baker) and surprisingly very fashionable when being put on!

Check out their cool belts and tunic dresses, perfect for officewear and casual dressy days!

ADIDAS ORIGINALS (Midvalley)

3-tier berani-mati mini skirt that belongs to my 7-old sister paired with adidas Originals limited edition 'I adidas Kuala Lumpur' tee and handbag.
Copper heart-shaped pendant chain and 4-inched heels are from Aldo.

Practical bags and cute shoes that I want, I want, I want (adidas hq, *hint hint*!)

3-striped shoes, shoes, shoes galore!

With Mila wazzup, wazzup!

That was me with Jehan Miskin, another adidas ambassador posing as the store's mannequins for pictures. Jehan and I hanged out for a while after the party and somehow he ended up in two of my classes (the last class was advanced pulak tu!) the very same evening.

If you gonna see more of us together at Aji Don post-yoga or at Camp5 rockclimbing, tolong jangan gossipkan kami. I can't be dating two actors at the same time! Nanti Melodi dan Harian Metro will happily come up with headline 'Arash Mohamad dan Jehan Miskin berebut bekas peserta realiti TV yang sudahlah kalah, tidak popular pulak tu guru yoga'.

Congratulations to adidas for their latest store opening in Midvalley (the shop is situated where the Nose shop was).

So yes, I had so much fun attending parties in the city
and I'm sure I'll have more fun this coming weekend for
I am going to shop and have watch Sex And The City The Movie in the Lion City!
