The Day 'They'll kick you, then they beat you, then they'll tell you it's fair, so BEAT IT, but you wanna be bad'

Dear Diary,

Alhamdulillah,
I am capable of laughing
at pretty much everything again now.

Any news I read,
any fact I refuse to believe,
all the comments I approved
all jokes anyone throws

especially last night,
as Supertall, his Superhairy friend and I were having dinner
when Superhairy mentioned, "I read Michael Jackson's a Muslim now."

To which Supertall replied,

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wait!
It was soooo funny I thought it's worth my time
googling for something totally unrelated
just so that I can share with you
Supertall's reply in a postcard Postsecret style,

And it rhymed!

With this, I end my allowance of approving EVERY comment at this blog.

However you see it,
to me I was just conducting social experiment of how people love taking advantage of kindness and freedom of opinions.

I got my conclusion, alright
and I'm happy to end it here.

If there's any you need me to answer personally, drop them at ninie.ahmad@gmail.com. My apology in advance if I might take time in replying.

Peace, love and light,
The Yoga Instructor

Tulah, sebenarnya I tulis komen first tu dulu baru post this entry supaya komen pertama itu kelihatan dulu.

Poyo, I tau.

Heh heh.

Dan I juga rasa jumlah komen selepas ini akan kembali kepada kurang daripada 10 seperti biasa :)

Hi Ninie,

Taken from today's Berita Harian Online..

"Perdana Menteri berkata, umat Islam yang mengamalkan senaman yoga tetapi tidak menggunakan sebarang bentuk mantera, masih boleh meneruskan aktiviti berkenaan kerana ia untuk kebaikan kesihatan mereka."

Although me n u are totally strangers, and totally have nothing in common (except i lurve KRU too hehe), i agree with you, pengharaman yoga is absurd! (eh, that makes we have two things in common!)

to all the anonymouses, and those who think we are sesat for standing up for yoga and saying the fatwa is all bollocks.

in your face lah people!

Pak Lah says its ok MINUS the chanting and even To Guru Nik says OK MINUS the chanting.

The truth shall ALWAYS prevail. HAHA

Now what can the fatwa council do now?

*drumroll*

hey ninie,as much as think banning the yoga is ridiculous, perhaps you should try to really understand what makes it haram.if u were at that mosque behind your house where your sister goes for sekolah agama last night, then you'd understand.the imam was talking about yoga last night.if you were back in bangsar lah, even frm the comfort of your own room u could clearly hear him,im sure.

Sheera,

Since you were in the mosque last night, what makes the yoga (san chanting and worshipping) haram?

I hope the imam who talked about it knows about yoga, rather than commenting on it based on hearsay. Nanti jadi macam the blind leading the blind pulak.

I couldn't be happier when I read the news of what Pak Lah said this morning. Happynyeeee happynyeeeee.

My body's still aching from the yoga class I attended two days ago. And I'm still going for another class later today.

O such joy.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. But you already know that, kan Ninie? And I'm looking forward for the opening of your OWN yoga centre.

=)

Hi Ninie

While we were doing our private yoga practice at a clubhouse yesterday, we could hear the azan prayers in the background. This leads to us thinking..maybe you can record and play the azan prayers during savasana...

Commendable idea! Although, I personally would be scared to literally, death if I hear beautiful azan during Savasana (Dead Body) thinking whaaaaaaaaat if I can't wake up and open my eyes to finish my practice. Ha ha haa!

Hope I can free myself to join your private yoga practice real soon. Thanks for your lovely words here, Karin.

Peace and love be upon you.

You know what? This just reminds me of Lady Di.That time just before her death that rumour says she's converting because of Al-Fayed..hmmm..

p/s:aku nak invite ko ke wedding ku..will sms u..same number kah?

That piece of MJ news made me laugh! People just love starting rumors. Drama!

eh alo people...

azan is call for prayers la... not to be used for savasana. you hear azan, you get up and do your prayers.
yeah yeah, i hear you. apa salahnya kalau dgr azan in savasana right? wrong purpose.

would you sing a birthday song in a funeral? (ok la, a bit extreme la). would you say good afternoon when its still 9am?

:D

Yeah Azan is a call of prayer so i dun think it is suitable.maybe you can try using selawat, or wirid. That's a better usage I think rather than Azan.
