Just when I thought I'm over and done with the Grey syndrome (I hear someone's on it now!), I think I'm jinxed with Triple T9 (Tersilap-Taip-T9) disorder pulak.
Had an SMS accident this morning,
when a girlfriend was on her way to come over.
I had to get showered so I typed,
"Gate and door unlocked."
Or so I thought lah kan.
I actually sent "Date and door unlocked."
My poor friend must be thinking,
who in the world pulak I picked and 'locked' up last night since I attended RAOUL Fall/Winter 2007 party at Mandarin Oriental yesterday, wearing a 'naked dress' (Carrie's DKNY dress from SATC Season 1 episode 'Secret Sex', hello?).
But it couldn't beat what happened on Tuesday though.
I met a new friend at Midvalley Megamall yet promised my mom to have lunch at home (keep up, I stay on my own now).
I thought
I typed "I'm with a friend . I'll be home in an hour, he hee.."
Mom called immediately after, "Who are you with?"
"I'm with a new friend."
"Who's your new friend?"
"Errr, D."
"What are you guys doing?"
"It's really none of your business, Ma."
No, I didn't exactly have the heart to say that lah kan
so I said, "He's watching me buy and try on shoes."
"Exactly where are you?"
"Told you I'm in Midvalley!"
"WHERE?"
"Guess."
"APA GUESS, GUESS?"
"No, I mean Guess. The kedai LAH!"
"Are you still coming home for lunch?"
"Yes, told you. In an hour!"
"Is your new friend coming along?"
"NO!"
She hung up.
I went like,
what is wrong with her?
Freaking out like
I checked my Sent messages and laughed my spine off when I realized that I actually sent,
"I'm with a friend. I'll be good in an hour, he hee."
(Especially to my mom)
Try typing 'home' on T9 from your Nokia and see what / which word gets predicted first.
