The (Wednes)day I Become Your Fantasy Domestic Goddess

Dear Diary,

Eversince I started staying on my own, I found myself enjoying and getting better at two things; cooking and board scrabbling (I've checked, 'scrabbling' is a valid word) for the past few Wednesdays.

And just like the last Wednesday night, a few hours ago I gladfully cooked and served 3-course-meal dinner for my lovely friends before enjoying coffee with them over my Scrabble table with Hitz.TV showing video clips behind us.

We were watching the latest VC of Red Hot Chilli Peppers when my bestfriend's husband, Imran (it was his birthday last night!) uttered a saying from Dave Grohl. Before I continue, I sooooooo know Grohl is NOT from RHCP, ok? Don't insult me. I breathe Footos.

If I can proceed, Imran quoted Grohl saying something REALLY cool like, "There are days I wake up and thought to myself, 'I AM Dave Grohl!'," and that his too-lame-yet-too-cool pick-up line has always been, "I used to play drums for Nirvana." Like, duh!

And this I-thought-I'm-too-cool-for-myself-too me rebutted, "But Imran, most of the days I wake up rubbing my eyes and tucking my leg behind my head to check if I was still dreaming before thanking, 'God, I can't believe I'm that Ninie!' too."

Kindly laugh.
I thought that was funny.

After getting them almost choked / tersedak over their coffee laughing at my perasan nan berani-mati statement, I came up with another joke. Well, I tried to. See if you'd laugh too.

"Well guys, it would be even cooler rightttt, IF one day you'd actually wake up and can say (to the someone you'd wake up beside), "Oh my God, YOU ARE REALLY THAT DRUMMER DAVE GROHL!"

They laughed. Only harder.
Imran & Asma are TOO cool.
