The Weekend My Hair Stayed Straight and Shiny Even When I First Woke Up In The Morning

I am,

guilty of having rebonded my hair on Friday. Just can't stand another day wearing it without having to tie it high and tight or without resorting to my neighbor for a quick cheap 'n chic (chewah!) GHD fix.

But life has been good since I rebonded my hair Friday, I tell you.

That very night, I met up with a few of my favourite female bloggers whom some of them turned my swimming instructor (whose boyfriend had complicate our map to the restaurant all along), my newfound soulmate (who can fit in my clothes) and my private investigator (slash some fuckers' IP tracker).

(check out our hair, agak-agak siapa baru keluar salon?)

The very next morning, I was asked to replace someone for a shoot at TV3. There, I was interviewed by Praevitriana Yuliawiratman about benefits of yoga, common misperceptions about yoga, ya da ya da and showed my Ashtanga Sun Salutation demo which gained me another slot to be interviewed and be a guest for Scoreboard pulak in the next week or so.

X
(macam mana boleh terlupa ambik gambar dengan Triana,
bila lagi nak pose jadi host dekat set Malaysia Hari Ini)

That very night pulak, I had a relationship-rekindling dinner with my special someone at a special place somewhere where he treated me like a princess, made me wear flowers on my ears (tapi lepas tu cepat-cepat tanggalkan sebab terlupa, rambut baru rebond tak boleh sangkut belakang telinga for a week) and ...

(this place serves ostrich steak, yummy!)

.. amazingly, my hair stayed straight and berkemilauan even after all the things we I did!

Why didn't I discover this magical human invention earlier? Guys, you have no idea how amazing and time-saving it is to not have to carefully blow dry and painfully crimp your hair every ungodly morning anymore!

So friends and family, bloggers and enemies, I'll be on this bewildered-over-my-hair mode for the next two weeks. Expect my next few Posture for The Day with rambut terbang-terbang effect.
Gua dah ada rambut raya, yea yea!

i've read ur Friendster profile before (some time ago), and if i clearly remember, u commented before that you hate girls with 'straight, rebonded' hair...cos i tink at that time you were having short spiked up hair. And from ur post, you seem to enjoy ur new do.

My point is, instead of just hating something you never tried before, maybe you should not just assume you 'hate' something or persons related to it (although no one in particular, rite?)

Bcos hate is a very critical word, we all should be careful how we use it cos at some point, it may hurt someone else's feeling.

No offence to you though (and i'm not speaking on behalf of rebonded hair union or so, i styled my hair curly :-) This comment is just an opinion i would like to share with you.Maybe after ur hair gets longer, u mite wanna try it, cos wavy locks now are soo in! Ciao, and honestly, you do have a very interesting blog :-)

thingsaboottogetvaryinterestinghear: thanks to my IP tracker, now i know exactly who you are and my, i was never wrong about you.

anonymous: i wrote that i hate MTV and channel [V] VJs with straight rebonded blonde hair, skinny stick figure, pan asian looks that only represent 0.1% of how normal girls are. and it was two years ago since i changed that on my profile, i've grown and so has my hair and i achieved exactly what i wanted by writing things in Friendster; making impacts, creating impressions.

yes, hate is a strong word but i only hate when i'm hated and hurt.

i'm sure your curls are beautiful and i will definitely try them when my hair gets longer or when they turn themselves into curls when the rebonding wears out. he hee..

becareful with rebonding technique. I lost LOTS of hair and having dry scalp after my second rebonding. Sedih! Some people suggested LOTS of hair treatment after rebonding...that will ensure ur hair to maintain its health and shine.

mins! rebonding is nice the 1st few months. then...when u hafta maintain it, urghhhh!!! the horrors la... it's so expensive to retouch/treatments and such a hassle when it comes to splits ends! :( that's why my hair's a short bob now ;) tapi, whatever it is, i'm so happy abt thursday nanti!!! hehe. la la laaaa...

Waaah.. I've always wanted to do rebonding. Thinking of all the time I would save blowing my hair. But somehow I did not pluck the courage to do it. Takut rosak rambut. Rambut dah rosak dah pun with all that hair colour I've got!

I don't think you really have to jaga rebonded hair. frankly, i just use serum or whatever hair care product for straight hair and that's just about it.

lurve rebonding cause well, i don't have bad hair days anymore (which used to form the majority of my calendar days)

oh, but my scalp gets oily. guess the effects are still there and not the same for everyone ey.
