The Day After The Bachelorette Dinner Party.

The Hen Night went alright.

There were altogether seven of us; The Bride with four bridesmaids (one MIA) and two girlfriends, all dressed to the nines and well literally, to the Nine at One Bangsar. If this were Sex And The City and Bangsar were Park Avenue, Nine would be in Denial in Season 2.

Having stepped here, I knew I'll come back. Although our bill arrived 4 digited (for seven small ladies who've been trying to not eat for the past weeks to fit in our dresses for the wedding, we must have eaten like pigs since I don't think we drank like fishes), I still like it very much compared to the Japanese dining next door whose food are reasonably priced but ridiculously small portioned, nevertheless it's owned by a student of ours.

Just the perfect little place if You want to pop Me the big Question that comes with a ring.

We chatted and laughed the night away like nobody's business and that was before the-one-too-chatty owner politely asked us to move to the bar if we wanted to go on drinking since they were running last calls for dessert (oh, its Rice Pudding and Lime Sorbet were just sinful).

Since it was past midnight and too tipsy late to drive to The Curve to karaoke our hearts out and our lungs away, we decided to stay (for coffee, really)! But,

.. damn, the bar was too packed. With a roomful of faces I'm sure I've seen (many times) from pages of Malaysian Tatler or Le Prestige, all clad in their flowy / frilly designer dresses and (the tengah-In) gypsi / Boho skirts, standing with tasteful peep-toe shoes at the south of their ankles, holding latest Chloe and Tod's carrywear, it was as if they emerged from the set of Bazaar's 50 Best Dressed People In Malaysia.

And they all don't look a day over 25!

That was reality check for us them girls and for me, "I don't belong here" and forcing the-one-too-chatty owner to serve us coffee at our table instead. Soon it was time to go home and after agreeing to come back to the same place next week to exchange wedding pictures, they all went home,

.. while I drove to someplace I knew I belong.
