The Day I'm Going To Kame Hame Ha with Dragonball Evolution

Dear Diary,

I just have to do this -

Show off my never-before-shared-here power that
I can actually make fireballs as I exhale and I concentrate hard enough
in these yoga poses

Vrksasana (Tree Pose)

Tiriang Muttkhottasana (Intense Backbend Stretch)

and one more, this time around out in bright daylight
di bawah tiang lampu Son Goku

just to win myself tickets two tickets to watch premiere screening of Dragonball Evolution
courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Malaysia brought to Glitterati bloggers by Nuffnang.

Woi, Dragonball tu.
PREMIERE lagi!

I had never missed
(following, borrowing and reading it
with and from my cousins, Diah and Nabil)
any issue of the little comicbooks
so I wouldn't miss this premiere for the the world!

I'd fake 10 more fireballs if I have to,
I'd make 100 splits if I have to,
I'd break 1000 spines if you want me to.

If you want me to.

So Nuffnang,
now you know I am a Super Saiyan (super flexible + super short + super bullshitter)
and to spare your staffs (I know where your office is) from being pretzeled into tiny little dragonballs,
just give this yoga instructor the tickets already!

The (Post Christmas) Day Post vPOST Party

Dear Diary,

Hoh, how I love saying that.
The Post Christmas Day Post vPOST Party.
Like how I told Supertall yesterday when he asked me
to choose a samping for him for a wedding we were going to yesterday,

Supertall: Sayang, I nak pakai samping yang mana? (Ada tiga samping)
Sayang: (attempt buat lawak) Pakai samping yang tu di samping samping-samping yang lain.

Superlong-haired Supershort di samping Supertall dengan sampingnya.

To my readers who don't understand Malay,
this joke is not translatable, I'm sorry.

So back to the vPOST party post :),

I was one of the lucky 10 ten Malaysian bloggers
who were invited by Nuffnang to an all-expense paid trip and stay to Singapore
for vPOST Christmas & Costume Party last weekend.

Who would say No when you were told,
1. You are going to Singapore by a luxury coach
2. You will be staying at Marriott Hotel (it is IN THE MIDDLE OF Orchard Road! And it was in the midst of Singapore Christmas Sale!)
3. You can bring a blogger friend

Apparently Ringo said No because she was in Japan at that time
and Hanis said No too because she didn't know I was going, auwwww..

And Nuffnang said,
I definitely earned my bragging rights because
there are apparently 29,000 Malaysian bloggers signed with Nuffnang
and to be ONE from the TEN chosen out of 29,000 bloggers is definitely worth bragging blogging.

And since I am back on my bragging mode,
I was the only Malay blogger on the trip ;)
(tulah Hanis, kalau tak kita boleh brag, camwhore dan kena kutuk beramai-ramai bersama-sama)

The main sponsor of the event, vPOST is an online shopping and shipping service provided by Singapore Post
and invited bloggers had to come with assigned letter of either v, P, O, S or T.

I was assigned with the letter T.

Hmmm, T, T, what can I do and be with T?

At first I was suggested with Tinkerbell, the green fairy who never grows up.
I thought it would be pretty cool since I have stopped growing at 5 feet tall (I know MY height lah, kan?)
and that many say I live in never-never land from the way I blog.
Yelah, yelah.

But then the costume shop which Supertall rented his 'Marcell costume' from does not carry Tinkerbell costume of my size!
'We don't carry kids' size here', uihhh, sedapnya mulut.

Option 2 was coming as Tomb Raider.
Best jugak tu, since I already have the outfit

but then carrying fake guns to Singapore might stop the fun
just before I entered Singapore, kan?

This full-of-myself self decided to come to the party costumed as,
*drumroll...*

THE BANNED YOGA INSTRUCTOR!

Armed with a hung yoga mat and armoured with
- in-your-face sportsbra
- neon horns
- uneven smokey eyes
- and badly untoned abs,
I thought it was just perfect,
since Singapore and Malaysia are the only two countries absurd smart enough
to have even thought about banning yoga.

So yes, IN YOUR FACE.

The rest of the Malaysian bloggers sent everyone into hysterical laughter
as they showed up as

Fireangel, the Shopaholic

My lovely guest blogger, Nellie as Archie comic's Veronica Lodge

Already 4-inches-taller-than-Ninie Nellie chose to wear 4-inches-heels
when Ninie wore her flattest flats

With supercute Audrey who dressed as Virgin Bride (and won Best Dressed Female Blogger for the event!)

Cindy, the winner of first Malaysian Dreamgirl as Venus Goddess

KY as Pirate

Suanie as Steve Irwin

and Malaysia's No.1 rated blogger,
Kenny Sia as Old Man

Do you know that kennysia.com gets 15,000 to 20,000 hits A DAY?
If my hated, narcissist, exhibitionist and names-dropping The Yoga Instructor Diaries
with average of 1,000 visits a day gets RMX,XXX from Nuffnang ads and advertorials monthly,
I wonder how much does Kenny earn from blogging solely.

(I have done my maths and Kenny, hats off!
And belanja big dinner, wei!)

Another thing, as I typed the a href links to all the top-ranked Malaysian bloggers above,
I just realized that THEY ALL have .com or .net of their own!
I seriously don't b e l o n g here.

Back to the party,

I was looking for a Pak Haji or Tok Mufti to pose with
this banned yoga instructor but I only met a Pastor, OK lah..

There were also Singaporeans School Teacher and Pupil

I also bumped into an oooooold friend (c'mon, you are way older than me, kan?) Saniboey
with his newly-wed wife, Azreen who came dressed as Sushi King and School Girl.

They have recently migrated to Singapore (and loving it!)
for Saniboey is now the editor of Manja Singapore.

We were in Singapore for less than 24 hours, if you can believe me
but the overall trip and party were worth every minute.

I kissed (albeit an old) Kenny Sia,

I discovered H-A-R-A-M is M-A-R-A-H in mirror,

and I managed to buy an obscene 10 pairs of fake eyelashes

So from the tip of her horns till the fold of her three-stripes,
this banned yoga instructor sincerely,

thanks vPOST for the fun party,
thanks Nuffnang (especially Chee Ching, Yee Hou, Pinky and KL team) for the invite,
thanks Kenny, Audrey, Cindy, Fireangel, Suanie, Jolene, Ginny, Huai Bin, KY
(did I miss anyone?) for making the trip an awesome one,
thanks Saniboey and Azreen for taking Nellie and I for showing us around and
for the (quote Azreen:) 'late supper and ice cream in Swensen's were undeniably sensational close to having an orgy minus the sex',
thanks Nellie for I couldn't ask for a better company,

and thanks Singapore & Malaysia for banning yoga but not enforcing it.

The whole thing was exactly what I needed to recharge my battery
after the seemingly-endless November and December.
