You are great woman, I know that what people say is not who you realy are, you just being open, But, dear .. as a Malay Muslim, maybe you should not tell the world about all your private life openly, especially this one. I know its nothing harm.. but people will say something and it will be negative impression to you. Dont blame people if they does it,because you the one who start it.
Just remember, whatever you do, or wherever you go, you still a Malay & Muslim girl. You are not Mat Salleh. You maybe forget about that.

i've been reading your blog with great interest, what with all the drama of banning yoga and people who can't stop nosing around other people's businesses. all i gotta say is, i salute you and stand by you all the way Ninie. you've got the courage to stand by what you believe and know if right despite facing so many backlashes. way to go girl!
Hi sweetheart, i m not sure u r giving yoga good PR here. having an attitude is cool, but to sell something kna tgk market jugak la. what works there may not work here. Honestly i think if yoga can't distance itself from cultish-potsmoking-freelove-haight ashbury counter culture, it may lose more ground to modern-wholesome-sesuai utk semua pilates.
btw dear, a fatwa doesn't ban anything. It is not binding, anybody can agree or disagree with it. It is just like a finger pointing at a direction, to go that way or not is up to you. for eg the fatwa has said smoking is haram. some ppl agree and they don,t smoke. some don,t and no action taken on them

better than those so called 'religious Malays' who did all kinds of things but managed to act saintly. ugh... irritates me like hell.
I am not Ninie's friend. I am just an occasional reader of her blog. I don't condone Ninie's behavior, I disagree with her on some things, but I don't think it is fair to assume mak bapak Ninie tak sayang kat dia sebab dia 'bergaul dgn bukan muhrim', tak menutup aurat etc etc etc. Kalau diorg tak sayang, kenapa adik-beradik dia semua pegi sembahyang kat masjid belakang rumah, pegi sekolah agama etc? I think masa Ninie muda2 dulu pun dia pegi sembahyang kat masjid belakang rumah, pegi sekolah agama. I think mak bapak dia memang sentiasa 'sound' kat Ninie supaya buat perkara2 yg dituntut agama, but sometimes anak tak nak turut kata. Bukan ke sapa tuh, one actress tu (around beberapa tahun dulu), bukan bapak dia MUFTI ke, atau imam ke, tapi anak dia jadik actress, tak tutup aurat. Sedangkan Nabi Ibrahim pun tak succeed pujuk bapak dia masuk Islam. Nabi ! Apatah lagi org biasa mcm kita ni. Bukan ke in one of her blog entries, Ninie cakap her father tak setuju dia 'beryoga' ni. Bapak selalunya tegas sikit. But, hati seorang mak, kita mana tau. At least, mak Ninie sentiasa put Ninie on her radar, at least boleh jugak la nak nasihat. Kalau masuk telinga kanan Ninie and keluar telinga kiri Ninie, at least insya Allah ada gak yg melekat kat dlm kepala. Cuba bayangkan kalau the family 'buang keluarga' je si Ninie ni. Lagi la kot 'tak terjaga'. So, at least, biarlah Ninie bersyukur that her family masih nak keep her close, boleh jugak la nasihat kat dia. Perkara si Ninie ni nak ikut cakap, tu time will tell. Insya Allah, last2 lembut la jugak hati dia. Hopefully, soon la, okay Ninie? Insya Allah.
