Dear Diary,
I was inside of One Utama's carpark around 8 last night looking a parking spot for my Batmobile for almost an hour when my phone rang and indicated 'Unknown' caller. I cheerfully picked up thinking it was my lovely Julie who is in the hospital for a complication (again).
No, it wasn't my Julie.
"Hi, is this Ninie?"
"This is she. May I know who is this?"
With an accent the voice introduced himself, "Hi Ninie! My name is Kalimuthu and I heard you are a yoga instructor. May I know how can I join your class?"
"You can call Yogazone," I wanted to continue with "but I don't know if I'm still working there" before I changed my mind and tell him to check their website for my schedule instead. "And may I know who gave you my number?"
"Aaaaa, one of your friends. I can't remember what's his name laa.."
"Come on, Jehan kan ni?" I remember texting Supermuskel an hour earlier to know where to park at One Utama to reach Celebrity Fitness the fastest.
"Bukan, bukan. Ini Kalimuthu cakap!"
"Come on, Jehan! Is that you? I'm running late ni, janganlah main-main!"
"Why are you late, Ninie?"
"Because apparently my class starts in 20 minutes, I am still not parked, I am driving with one hand and that you are wasting my time."
"Oh, then can I join your class? I can make it in there in 20 minutes."
I lost it.
And hung up.
Kalimuthu on 'Unknown' called again.
I rejected.
In 5 minutes, an old friend which is almost like a brother I never have and the rock writer I always aspire to be, called pulak.
"Hai adik, how are you?"
Alamak, dia ni sure tak baca blog aku. Malas lah nak cerita. "Abangg, tsk tsk, I am in bad shape... I need to be inspired again. Cheer me up!"
"Eh, you OK ke? Kat mana ni?"
"I am not OK! I am broke and I'm freaking out! I have a class in 15 minutes and I'm not even parked yet!"
"Tu lah, that's why I sent Kalimuthu over to cheer you up, you tak mau layan!"
WTF?
"THAT WAS YOU? OH MY GOD! CAN I KILL YOU?"
"No, that was Burn AF1 pulling a prank on you for XFresh.fm tomorrow morning. Go kill him, although I was the one who gave him your number, ha ha haaa (dengan nada gelak setan)!! You didn't know I am with Xfresh now, did you?"

and it is a baddddddddd idea pulling a prank on a starving, unpaid and late yoga instructor, OK!

You not teaching in YZ anymore? Or teaching extra classes in CF? Although I will feel sad can't see you in class anymore, I understand your choice, and absolutely support your decision. Just want to see you smile & laugh again like you always did.
My last class with you, I can sensed that as though you just cried :(

Hang on there Ninie! Let me have a change to attend yr class...will u come to YC Cheras? I know is hard for all teachers at this critical time. Personally i m very upset with the whole thing as i m GCmember n i hv paid a lot prior to tt. I also hv been to more downs then ups in life...I hv read this during my down time, just want to share with u. "If u never gone hungry;what do u know about full? Hi Ninie :) I'm sad to see the situation of YZ now. Am a member, but I freezed my membership after Raya last year coz I injured my back. Loved Jazzlyn and Azmi's Ashtangga and Flow classes, and wished to join yours too, if given the opportunity. Hopefully I'll still see you around in The Weld if you're still teaching.
Hang on there and do keep me posted if you're teaching elsewhere in future.
Btw, any idea where did Jazzlyn go to? I read from YogaJess that Azmi's leaving? Not sure how authentic is that message though.
