And so I attended two Live & Loud concerts last week.
The first one was the R&B night for reminiscing good old time singing my lungs crazy to All My Life back in boarding school exactly 10 years ago, crying myself silly everytime I hear Crazy and ahhh, remembering the stupid tak larat *kenot tahan times when someone dedicated Tell Me It's Real to me.I enjoyed the concert mainly for the fun company of my superfun and lovely girlfriends but I didn't appreciate K-Ci's manners up onstage. Please get yourself a room and not here in KL, please.
The final yet most anticipated night was of course, the Accoustic night at KL Convention Centre. Reason being, need I say it?
Simply put, James Morrison's Undiscovered CD is the CD I listen the most to this year. It's still playing on heavy rotation on my Playlist, in tie with Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams and Lifehouse's Lifehouse (I don't grow up, I know :D but I don't download, that you should know too).
So you can imagine my excitement and thrill when I first got the news that he was going to perform in town. Accoustic pulak tu!
Participate my kegelisahan tiada tara when he performed this break-up song of mine for my second last relationship that ended last June
"You pulled me under, that I had to give in,
Such a beautiful mess, that's breaking my skin,
Well I'll hide all the bruises, I'll hide all the damage that's done,
But I show how I'm feeling until all the feeling has gone."
(from PIECES DON'T FIT ANYMORE)
only to be replied with
"I've grown tired of being used,
And I'm sick and tired of being accused,
Now I'm walking away from you,
And I'm not coming back."
(from THE LAST GOODBYE)
Back then, I went "Eh, apahal pulak?"
I guess everybody deserves to be angry when feel cheated and :( unwanted. So the parting was painful and bitter especially when both parties felt equally cheated and unwanted. In my case, unwanted enough.
Well, it's all over now. I've never been single this long :P but I've never been this happy either. I wanted to upload my theme song Wonderful World too but I just realized that my voice drowned Morrison's most of the song. And it wasn't pleasant to the ears. Sayangnya..

On a completely different note, I think my dear friend, Tom Hayton the only one who understands my understated conquest and weakness of 'McDelivery' (although I've gone vegetarian now Tom, I don't mind your late night orders at all. McDelivery is 24 hours now, I heard. But I thought you were a vegetarian too?) looks a lot like James Morrison in that The Last Goodbye video, don't you think so?

Tom is one amazing (looking?) guy that can look like Daniel Craig one day, Tobey Maguire on another. Although he (himself) thinks that his bottom half (I wasn't finished) facial features look very much like Kevin Spacey / Russell Crowe, if you look closely, even he agrees that he can even look like George Clooney!
I keep telling him "Tom, you can't be Spiderman, Batman, Gladiator and James Bond ALL IN ONE!"
Now James Morrison pulak!
Melampau keterlaluan *can die -_- TM, OK!
(*sign that one has been reading too much of Joyce, the Kinky Blue Fairy)
