The Day I Don't Understand

Dear Anonymous,

Did it really make you feel better writing all these?

Moderated Comment 1
It's funny reading how a muslim woman would listen to an indian or yet kafir guy.. then listenning and obeying Allah's rules.. go and change your religion too.. maybe u'll finally at peace..

I seriously think you are suffering from a tragic case of Narcissistic personality disorder, which may eventually lead to significant distress and functional impairment.

Is this the first time you have been hit on? Well it's clear you haven't been chatted up before, I could tell just from your giggly nature like a 16 year old playing passing notes at a bowling alley?!! Really. Interestingly the pick-up style obviously indicates the standard of men only kampung (complete with rambut karat) women like you can attract - those oh so chaaaarming and 'gentlemenly-not' Mat Rempits at bowling alleys. To think that you took the initiative to scan the note and dedicate a whole section on your self-absorbed blog just on a (how fitting) cheap note shows how desperate and pathetic you are. Look this is not rocket science. Women get hit on all the time. I get hit on all the time but of course by a much higher standard species of men, thank you. Basically, we ladies do not then rush home, scan a note with a phone number written on it and then blog about it for everyone to see.

Seeing that you are in a state of denial you will no doubt filter this message from your self-centered blog (me me me and me) and only allow praising and complimentary message from your blind and misled fans to be published. Ah those damned fools.

Perhaps you ought to consider changing your writing style. Be modest. Be down to earth. there is no need to point out every single detail i.e. of brands, names or celebs. If you think you are truly classy then why is there a need to desperately point things out?

Why do truly gorgeous, breathtakingly stunning women write their blogs so well and so intelligently that no one seem to mind their rantings? In fact people really enjoy reading their blogs? You see Ninny (yes Ninny!) the difference is they are humble and they deserve the praises and compliments because they have a hundred thousand more brain cells than you have, they have a thousand more beautiful genes than you have and yes they are 2 feet taller than you are. Trust me honey being a puny-sized 39kg woman which you can easily throw around is not flattering.

And whilst I am at it, please kindly set up a piggy bank trust fund for your equally vain and conceited friend Juliana. To fund a nose job for that huge and massive honker on her face. Honk honk.

If you don't want your little sisters to be stuffed into sports bags like what happened to Nurin, then it really is a very bad idea, if not stupid, to post your sisters pics on-line? They could well be the next target.

I don't understand.

By telling other people off,
does it make you a better person?

By asking people to change their religion,
get a nose job and wishing their sisters be murdered,
did it make you sleep better at night?

Tapi i smile n said "bukan sembah tapi menghargai (sun) kurnia Allah, so everytime i do yoga i thank Allah gimme brain that communicate well with heart and other part of my body, so i can exercise. Bila berdiri kat puncak Gunung Tahan, i thank Allah cz I can do my mountain pose under the 11am bright sun, felt the energy rush down right to me!"

Hi Ninie!

I think it's great that there is a malay representitive blogging about her practice, despite the common misconception that Yoga's associated with the Hindu religion/culture.

I live in Singapore, and is a teacher as well, but yoga among the malay community here is exceptionally small, in fact, prolly non-existant.

So it's great to stumble across blogs such as yours; truly inspiring. And I must say, your photos of asanas are wonderfully beautiful!

I look foward to reading more entries from you! :)

Dear Ninie
I do like to share some views on this issue. These are just my opinions and you are allowed to 'brush' them of if you would like to.

On Comment 1
There is nothing wrong in listening to a person of a different race or learning something from it. We live in a multi racial country. It's all about learning to accept all the different cultures around us for I am Indian too.

On Comment 3 (I jumped to the 3rd one)
At some point, I do agree with the comment posted but I am not hoping for anything bad to happen to your siblings (God bless them). We don't know the kinds of people whom read our blogs (as I do have one myself) and its always best to be cautious as we do not want to be the cause of hurt to our loved ones.

On Comment 2
It's best to look at 3 points of view on this. On one side, some may feel that you are bragging of how great you think you are, of your so-called-happening-lifestyle and all the happenings around you. Some may feel that you would just want to inform your friends on how you're doing and what's best than to blog about it especially when each person may be at different ends of the world. And some, may feel that it's just your style of writting.

Not everyone is built the same way and it's not fair to judge someone as and when we like to (and even if we must, should be done discreetly).

Ninie, these are just my opinions. As for the comments posted on your blog, try not to brush it off completely and take it as learning points, there could be 'some' truth in it that we could all ponder upon.

Cheers!

p/s: That comment on the nose job thing was uncalled for btw

shamaine said...

erm...i think these anonymous wankers don't understand that it's your blog so you can bloody well write whatever you want...true or not ?

*sigh*

Anonymous said...

hi ninie, i truly don't understand too. this is too much.

p/s: i am one of your blog's daily readers (in case u're wondering who the h*ll is this mrs safwan)

Anonymous said...

The first and the third comments are totally outrageous! Just showed what kind of thinking these people have. Very much narrow. However, the second comment does have some points except for the nose job part which is so uncalled for!

I don't get what the fuss is all about. Just take it the way it is people. As another good bad blog to read.

Anonymous said...

i totally agree with what "theopinionatedone" said.

you're very rational yet, kind! so, thank you for that! i loved reading your "other" sides of the story. i find that all the rest of the comments just jump to conclusions.

instead of brushing everything under the rug, it is good to sometimes ponder about what others have to say. that's what comments box are used for, right? there is no right or wrong comments. just comments from people from all walks of life.

i don't think everything that "anonymous" said was untrue.

but i do like reading your blog.

judd. said...

it's not surprising all these vicious-harsh-uncalled comments come from "anonymouses". from my observation, most "blog-bashing" comes from people who feel comfortable being anonymous. why is that, i wonder..

of course, i'm all into freedom of speech, say-what-you-mean,mean-what-you-say & self-opinionated people, but to say all those things anonymously? why do wanna remain unknown if you feel strongly about it?

for instance, you have an excellent idea for your company, that you feel strongly about, and you know deep in your heart this is a brilliant idea and will save the company tonnes of money. instead of just raising it up in a meeting, you slip a note of your ideas under your boss' door. of course, anonymously.

what's the point of that?

Hi Ninie......You might remember me from our D1-7 days. I just wanted to let you know that there is no reason to give such pettiness and vitriol the time of day. We can't always feel bad for all the haters out there.
