The Day I Fall In Love (with the word) Randomly

Dear Diary,

Contrary to popular belief, I am boring I love being tagged. Really. I thank The Lazy Turtle for saving me from endlessly updating if not checking other people's Facebook.

So here are 7 random things about me (that I can think of at the moment).

1. I type my text SMS and e-mails in full words, punctuations and capital letters at the beginning of someone's name or day. It's my thing. Just let me. I also secretly pity people who type in random cApItaL aNd SmALL letters and those who end their EVERY sentence with two.. or three dots... (pun intended)

2. I have a thing for random supertall beings and Chinese-looking Malay guys if not Malay-looking Chinese guys. Although proven that when I lose my head, I tend to go weak in the spine for random Dutch mat-salleh-celup looking guys if not those exceptional rockstar or rock writer type.

3. My housemate and I have secret and random codes to pretty much every living thing in the house. We renamed my cat - 'The Dog', his fish - 'The Snake', cockroach - 'Raisin', our plants - 'The Cats', and raisin - 'Cockroach'.

(I got him pretty terkejut last night when I mentioned,
"Tom, I think we have a cockroach situation."
I swear I thought I saw him pulling his legs up onto the couch.
So I laughed. Hard.
"Pakcik oei, I mean this COCKROACH lah! Lupa ke?"
I pointed at the sebijik raisin I saw on the floor of our living room and LOLROTF.)

4. I worship my super adorable baby sister.





















5. Oh, that was taken from a shoot for Utusan Malaysia for kids' yoga segment. That almost makes this tag 'Random Things About My Little Sister', doesn't it? And don't you think she's slowly if not secretly vouching herself for the next adidas ambassador if not The Next Yoga Instructor? 6. Randomly about Utusan Malaysia now, I performed a solo yoga demonstration for their Kita Bersama carnival last Saturday. I had fun actually, especially when they let me choose the songs to set the mood of my performance. Since it was an event for a Malay newspaper and Malay crowd, I opted for my favorite Malay, well, errr.. Indon songs actually from Padi; Kaki Kasih Tak Sampai and Ternyata Cinta.

(Excuse the bad video. I blame my bad compression method. Youtube doesn't upload videos longer than 10 minutes and I swear that's me in the video)

If you realize, the chorus from the second song goes like,
"Dan ternyata cinta, yang menguatkan aku." I like.

7. And random justification on that Ternyata Cinta's byte,
I feel that I don't have to have a love life to feel loved. The capability to love every random thing that I do and every random person around me, is what strengthens me. I think.


If you can call this random.
At least I managed to mention the word 'random' more than 7 random times :)
