The Day It's Not 2/3/07

Dear Diary,

So I watched another movie at the cinema yesterday.
Number 23. The obsession and addiction of the number 23.

Some of you might say; numbers, premonitions, predictions, palmistry, starsign compatibility are bulls*it.

BUT I swear by astrology,
I believe in aura and colourtherapy.
They worked on / for me.

Through experience, I also believe in meaning behind dreams
AND I believe I'm a lucky and very intuitive person.

A couple of years ago, three days before my grandmother passed away, I was one of the two members in the whole family (my grandmother had 9 children and I have close to 100 first cousins from my mother's side) that dreamed of our teeth falling out.

The night before winning RM30,000 from qualifying to be one of the 4 finalists for Nescafe Kickstart, I dreamt of climbing a hill.

Nevertheless, two weeks before Nescafe Kickstart finale,
I should have seen the signs that I DID NOT GET.

For something too big like (as if) winning RM150,000;
- my right eye didn't twitch,
- my right hand didn't itch and
- I did not dream of climbing hills and mountains
- I did not see the premonition that three of my closest girlfriends can't make it for the finale.

I did not want to see the sign of NOT getting any sign as a sign.

So what does this have to do with the movie Number 23?
Pretty much nothing, actually.
Only that, it got me interested in numerology too.

Counting on Life Path Numbers according to the sum of birth date, all this while, I thought I've always been a 2.

My birth date: 8 (D) / 10 (M) / 1982 (Y)
8 + 1 + 0 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 2
= 29
= 2 + 9
= 11
= 1 + 1
= 2

Until I came across the book Predictions (above picture) recently, there is a number 11 on it's own.

'This master number is associated with spiritual awareness. Visionary and cultured, your ideas are often beyond understanding of others. Maintain faith in your plans, you have the potential to produce something truly inspirational.'

Wow.

I'll keep on believing.
I'll keep you inspired.
I promise.

Now IF ONLY there's a bookstore in town that isn't out of The Secret, please tell me.

There are 3 double-digit numbers that, while they are rooted in the single-digit numbers, require special emphasis and attention. These are 11, 22, and 33.

They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers. They are highly charged, difficult to handle, and require time, maturity, and great effort to integrate into one's personality.

11 - IDEALIST

Traits:artist, celebrity, highly energized INSPIRATION, psychological, radical, sensitive

The number 11 symbolizes the principle of enlightenment. It colors everything with drama, a visionary outlook, artistic sensitivity, and a sparkling quality. It is not truly practical, but its contribution is its unique perspective and philosophy which instigates new consciousness. Its energy is very high-strung, intense, mercurial, polarized (off an on), and subtle.

Gifts: Revealing higher truths, transformation, poetic interpretation, romance

Challenges: Illusion, isolation, allergies, over-stimulation

Personal Goal: Living the dream

Fears: Drudgery, restriction, ugliness, boredom

Succeeds as: Media star, poet, inventor, psychologist, minister, designer, society figure, beauty queen, occultist

hmm. percayalah benda ngarut ni. ppl normally dictate themselves by what their star sign is supposed to be, rather than actually being that way.

ish. methinks that you are away with the fairies.

Hi Ninie,
Blog hopping here for the first time.

Congratulations - though you did not emerge as the contest winner, you did smell the coffee! And to smell the coffee at such a young age - that itself is a "jumpstart" to winning bigger things in life sooner rather than later.

It's high time to reach out to the hearts of people beyond the magazine. Turn passive reading into active yoga-ing.

How about a closed-circuit YOGA class for srikandi golden girls? Mind you... some of our back bones are brittle oredi... slow does it kay? Akak2 menanti ....

Cheers!

What Ninie chooses to write or comment on in here is her right ... anywhere in the 'rules' of blogging that restricts her from talking about anything she wants ... ?

So to those who have nothing else better to do than being a b***h in here ... go read other blogs and bugger off ... she doesn't need your negativity ...

You know who you are ...

Hi have been reading your blog on and off for some time
Agree strongly with astrology and all things related. I find it all quite fascinating.
Am in the process of beginning to write a book related to asian beliefs for said types of predictions.
There are some good points in your post for me to consider. Cheers :)
