Nothing's scarier than having published Malaysia's first yoga magazine only to see a local yoga magazine selling at newsstands claiming to be 'Malaysia's Premiere Yoga Magazine'.
For those who already have a copy of HatiYoga,
- you can clearly see it is a JANUARY-FEBRUARY 07 issue on its cover,
- you know HatiYoga was launched on 24 February 2007,
when the mentioned magazine's first issue is of APRIL-MAY 07.

Counting seconds and holding my breath to hear response from Malaysia's Book of Records for I've submitted my application to verify HatiYoga to be Malaysia's first yoga magazine, a week before the launch.
Put HatiYoga and the mentioned magazine side by side,
you won't miss the uncanny similarities of both covers.
You'd frown in terror wondering "Who first?",
I've cringed in terror asking "Why?".
Not all the time, imitation is the best form of flattery.
Maybe it was purely coincidental but, how in the world, how?

I shouldn't feel like this.
I am really proud of my beautiful baby.
Exactly 10 days to grand finale.
I can't afford to worry about this.
But yes please, put both Malaysia's yoga magazines side by side.
I know, you know that HatiYoga is of better quality, comes with a VCD and would be selling cheaper.

worry not, we are still counting on hatiyoga to be the first.(eventho i still not having my copy):)
Ninie, why dont u go and register your brand HatiYoga and have the name as your trademark.
Secondly, since we've discovered there's another yoga mag in town, u must make sure that yr mag is a whole lot better than the other one.

i was just about to email you about that after i popped by the magazine rack at a certain bookstore in kl this afternoon. i did not get the chance to browse through the magazine though. but i have confidence in HatiYoga based on its inaugural copy. i wouldn't worry too much. you already have a following and a huge headstart already!

i also think that your mag have to be better than in store, or other else people will comparing, especially the judges. It will not be a speciality anymore. Furthermore, the cover is almost same, and the mag will give a free vcd too..

yes, be proud of your magazine but as someone who wants to make a mark in the industry, always do your research first so there aren't any surprises. i had already heard of this magazine and was surprised when you said HatiYoga was Malaysia's first yoga mag. but after seeing the dates, yes HatiYoga is the first. and be very very proud of yourself and your achievement, but don't forget the true spirit of yoga - for the passion, not the glory.
and i agree, your magazine looks more professional and enticing than the other. very good job.
