The Day I Scrambled and Scrabbled

Dear Diary,

On Saturday morning, I met up for breakfast at La Bodega, Telawi with my big sis (I'm hallucinating, I know) with a couple of her friends, A and H whom in this small and twisted world, I have met through (our) old blogs and rockclimbing.

I featured the couple in my last task for Kickstart. Yes, the RM30K factor task. If I can quote my own lines in the task,

"They are the epitome of 'cool' husband and wife urban couples want to be. She is the one who does the wiring and plumbing while he cooks and cleans. He's into Radiohead and unsettled Seattle bands while she's into gadgets and big machines.

Nothing's sweeter than getting to belay each other while rock climbing in the evening, battling each other at Scrabble on Sunday mornings and nothing beats watching Coldplay live in Singapore together.

Whoever says marriage is not all sugar, spice and everything not nice?"

Well, maybe I'm biased.
Whoever into Radiohead IS cool.
I got hooked to A's blog for his now-defunct blogspot domain contained a Radiohead song title in it.

And that Saturday, my 'cool' akonometer (ask MK on this) for this couple just hiked up another notch for I found out that they are Scrabble freaks and they memorize two-letter words from the Official Scrabble Dictionary just like me!

We had our round of my pocket Scrabble at Bodega before moving to sis (at least, bigger sister I wish I have)' house for it was her mom (can she be my mom too?)'s birthday for, surprise surprise. Another round, well.. two rounds of Scrabble. On sis' Scrabble turntable.

I love rhyming and susun-terbalikking words.

Oh, did I tell you who else we saw at Bodega while we were there? Malaysia's Joe Jer (of Joe Jer and Zabrina) and Syeon (of Syeon and Andrew) from AXN's Amazing Race Asia had their Big Breakfasts with scrambled eggs too!
