He, who was born 28 years ago in the midst of winterstormall the way in Newfoundland (where Titanic crashed)
where its' temperature can reach up (or down?) to -51oC.
It was TMOMD's birthday yesterday and;
- how I wished that my car didn't die on me in the morning (out of 365 days in the year and 70,000km travelled, the timing belt chose to finally putus today)
- how I wished that AAM didn't take forever to tow my car to my workshop
- how I wished that my workshop could fix my car before evening so I could've spent the rest of his birthday with him
- how I wished that it didn't rain in the evening (now it's 1.20 in the morning and still raining)
- how I wished that we could make it for the movies he got us tickets to (it was his birthday and he didn't let me pay for anything)
- how I wished that the pair of jeans I got him (that I recall him saying "Cool" to) was not two sizes too small
- how I wished that the set of fragrances (that I remember him saying the first perfume his mom bought for him and became his all-time favourite scent) I picked for him came in nicer wrapping
- how I wished that I could buy him all the nice fancy flashy things all the malls have
- how I wished that I didn't say anything stupid and hurtful today (and how I wished I could take back all that I did)
- how I wished I did treat him at least as special as he did when it was my birthday
- how I wished I knew exactly how to show him that he means the world to me, especially on his special day
- how I wished that I could / did make him happier
- how I wished 6th January '06 happens again today, tomorrow, be it all week, all year
.. just so he could have a better birthday.
Even if those bad things, unforeseen predicaments have to
happen on my next birthday in return, I'd take them all.
That special a man deserves the best day You could grant him.

it was all out of your control and everything happens for a reason. at least now u'll appreciate him more eventho' u couldn't show him on his special day. i'm sure now u'll realize every time spend with him is special :) look at it on the bright side: after all that has happened, he still loves u! and i love you too! hehe.

sweetie, pick any day this month, and pretend that it is 6th Janury. Recreate the whole magic that u have planned for him...except maybe buying everything in the mall la. hhehee.
what zettty says is true.. birthdays dont have to be celebrated on his bday only.. u can always do it on another day.. and that my friend.. would make an even bigger surprise..

It's cheaper if you get yourself the timing belt from kedai spare part, pegi workshop bayar for workmanship sahaja.
I did that and it's tremendously cheap.
