Ammar Asyraaf, my handsome but ever-so-naughty 8 year old brother managed to blackmail my father into buying him a Game Boy Advance (wahh, Game Boy pun ada beginners, advance all? Yoga also kalah like this..) or else, he won't surrender himself to the doctor (since cannot find Tok Mudim nowadays..).

The 'sunat' ceremony was performed at Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar Al-Siddiq Bangsar earlier this morning. As if being rewarded with GBA is not enough, he gets to stay in bed and watch the Astro upstairs all he wants, all by himself for the whole week or at least until he heals.

The word 'sunat' refreshes me of my post- terawih buka gossip session with MK a month ago when one of her friends told us the story of how TV3's Daphne Iking got freaked out when she was told that waking up every morning for 'sahur' is sunat. He hee..

But that can't beat my mom's first question after I introduced TMOMD to her three years ago. As soon as he left, she quickly interrogated, "Awak serious-serious dengan anak Mat Saleh ni, dia tu dah sunat ke belum?"

Whether if I would have blurted / answered an honest "Belum.." or a confident "Dah!", mesti kena balik "HAAA, MACAM MANA AWAK TAU?"
