The Day I First Tak Bangun Sahur (knocked out from medication for allergy I took the night before)

I thank you for all of your thoughtful wishes.

And of course, for the gifts. Man, how I was showered with gifts.

An hour before midnight of October 8th, I received my first present (kalau kira betul-betul first, the Jimmy from my father wins) from an angel slash 'jiran-belakang-rumah' who dropped by my house (I love this neighbourhood) and handed me a gorgeous tasbih Boho like necklace from Cat's Whiskers in a gigantic (drama queen, kan saya?) box. And she got her guardian and little angels to sing a birthday song for me!

And now two days after my birthday, the presents and invitations for dinner treat still kept pouring. Keep 'em coming!

But among the handphone (lupa pulak hilang talipon hari tu), a Swatch (from my brother that's recovering from the accident), lovely scented candles (from my other brother), MAC (the make-up, as bad as I want the computer lah kan?) voucher, an MP4 player (that I have yet to figure how to use), my splurge at Wh (my favorite store) which was paid for, big dinner, ice-cream, cakes and cards I got.. I was particularly moved by this gift; a hard-cover book entitled If There Would Be No Light consisting a compilation of poems written by a 9-year-old girl who has been creating poems since the age of four.

And of course, I couldn't hold my tears reading a poem from the book rewritten on the card that came with it:

I guess (and very happy to know that) there's still someone out there who sincerely loves me, thinks I am special in some ways, appreciates my existence and presence in this world, on the day I was born,
